Day 2 of the Agri Social training in Berlin was all about seeing the city through green eyes! ![π±]()

We started the day with an engaging session by Toni Karge in @prinzessinnengarten_kollektiv , who introduced us to the Berlin perspective on green spaces and the Community Garden Program. We explored how urban gardens are not just places where vegetables grow β they are spaces where communities, inclusion, sustainability and new ideas can take root. ![π]()

Then our learning journey moved outdoors! At Rollberg Paradies, the inspiring Tom Jahn welcomed us into the garden and guided us through a practical training session, showing how a community garden can become a place of creativity, cooperation and everyday learning. ![πΏ]()

Our day continued at Tempelhofer Feld β a former airport transformed into one of Berlinβs most vibrant open spaces, full of people relaxing, cycling, doing sports, meeting friends, celebrating and enjoying the city in their own way. And of course, we also experienced the best part of urban farming: tasting food connected to what the field produces. ![π½οΈ]()

From policy to practice, from gardens to people, Day 2 reminded us why this training matters: because urban agriculture is not only about food β it is about communities, shared spaces, sustainability and imagining greener cities together. ![π±]()
